Automatic TIN Registration :

Registration of tax identification numbers (TIN) for individual citizens and permanent residents aged 18 and above is automatic through data obtained from National Registration Department (JPN).
Registered TIN can be checked through the following methods :

• MyTax portal at the link https://mytax.hasil.gov.my;
• Hasil Contact Center at 03-89111000 / 603-89111100 (Overseas); or
• Any nearby HASiL office.
