1. The taxpayer is responsible to ensure that the tax agent appointed to manage tax affairs on his behalf is a tax agent approved by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia and still within the approval period.   2. The taxpayer needs to submit the letter of appointment of the tax agent and the letter of agreement for the appointment as a tax agent to the HASiL Office which handles his income tax file for purposes of updating his record. The letter of appointment of the tax agent must contain complete information of the tax agent appointed including his full name, identification number, firm name, approval number and phone number/ e-mail.
