Tax Corporate Governance Programme

The Tax Corporate Governance (TCG) Programme is an initiative by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) that encourages companies to adopt a structured tax governance framework to strengthen transparency, accountability, and compliance in managing their tax affairs. The programme promotes clear tax strategies, defined responsibilities, proper documentation, internal controls, and periodic reviews to ensure effective tax risk management. Through this approach, it aims to enhance voluntary compliance, improve corporate tax practices, and foster a more cooperative relationship between companies and the tax authority.
